We are very pleased with our new kitchen and the service provided by Stewart the designer and the team of trades – electrician, plumber and joiners. The planning was made easy by Stewart who provided several variations on the design for us to see Schuller kitchens are very ergonomic, well designed and sturdy. We were provided with samples to help us make up our mind.
There was no hard sell and the communication between ourselves and Stewart was excellent. The trades co-ordinated well together and workmanship on the fitting was second to none. We also required a new floor which was painstakingly laid by Paul the joiner.
We would have no hesitation in recommending James Allan Kitchens as they made the process of choosing and installing our new kitchen a painless experience with a beautiful result.

From the initial visit to their Forfar Showroom, through to the final installation, Alan and his team have been absolutely flawless.Â
We wanted to replace our kitchen with something more modern and practical. Stewart in the showroom proved to be not only professional and approachable but also highly experienced in designing our new kitchen, ensuring it was bespoke to us.Â
We removed a peninsula and replaced it with a large kitchen island, increased the storage massively and raised the countertop heights. The fitting team were excellent, arrived on time every morning, worked hard and had an amazing attention to detail. They thought of small changes before I had even throught of them and left the rooms immaculate each evening.Â
Alan popped in regularly to check on progress with a friendly smile and a ‘can do’ attitude, regardless of the request. The plumber and electricians arrived on time and the co-ordination throughout the team was spot on. They also completed our utility room as part of the project. We’re delighted with the end result. It’s changed our entire home living lifestyle for the better and wouldn’t hesitate recommending them to anyone wanting a hassle free experience..
Kitchens by James Alan Recently completed our fabulous new kitchen which was a fantastic transformation from the previous install.
The whole design process from initial visit and brief through all the different options to the final install was a pleasure with sound advice, design experience and helpful advice letting us create initially a full design with fab graphics of the intended works which perfectly matched the out turn install.
A hands on experience at showroom selecting products from the wide range complete with all the appliances, flooring finish, new doors and the finishing touches like the fab instant hot water tap and power points with integral phone charging and bluetooth speakers.
The design was carefully and patiently prepared for us and included all the items and preferences that we requested. Installation commenced on the date we agreed following manufacture and Installers were great, a first class install with great care and respect whilst working in our house.
We really are delighted with our fabulous new Kitchen By James Alan which looks lovely and perfect for our needs. Alan and your team, thank you very much for all your efforts and hard work.
